Ripley Castle Wedding Photography | North Yorkshire Wedding Photography | Abraham Photography
What a delight it was to be part of Monica and Barry’s wedding day and to capturure their Ripley Castle wedding photography.
In the morning I met Monica where she was staying at the Boar’s Head Hotel and captured the bridal preparations with her sister. Meanwhile Chris my second photographer for the day was at Ripley Castle awaiting the arrival of the groom; Barry and his best man. The morning was relaxed although as you would have expected, there was a little bit of nervous anticipation in the air on both sides.
The guests arrived and were seated in the library room, which is a beautiful intimate room for smaller weddings. Following the wedding ceremony which was lovely, there was a drinks reception where the newly weds spent some time chatting with their guests. We then captured some pre-requested group shots and then took the couple off into the beautiful grounds where we took some beautifully creative and natural photos.
The day continued with the speaches and the wedding breakfast and then there was a gap to the evening reception. This allowed us to set up some special twilight photography and capture a beautiful sunset and some night time photos, including sparklers.
